From Friction to Connection: Designing Experiences That Stick
Hosted by Girl Scouts of the USA

Subheader/Presented by

Girl Scouts of the USA

Description

What barriers are keeping people from saying yes—and how might we design them away? Girl Scouts faced that challenge when it set out to rethink the experience of starting a new troop. Rather than simply asking how to recruit more volunteers and members, the organization used human-centered design to solve modern challenges around acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Go behind the scenes with the iconic, 114-year-old organization through the story of the Girl Scout “Experience Box,” which will allow attendees to tackle a fast-paced design challenge of their own by identifying a customer need, navigating real-world constraints, and building and testing a solution. Come for a fresh look at design thinking and innovation inside one of America’s most enduring organizations. Leave with ideas you can apply to your own customer, workforce, or growth challenges—and, because this is Girl Scouts, there will be cookies.
