Date & Time
Wednesday, October 7, 2020, 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
Description

Film has a unique power to captivate us and change the world beyond what we may have imagined. Everyone has a story to tell, but there is a workflow for turning a good idea into a great screenplay. In this session, we’ll discuss what makes a story worth telling, how to make it marketable, and the social and cultural responsibilities we have as filmmakers.

We’ll also discuss:

  • How to develop a logline for your film/story
  • The difference between a good and a great story
  • How to balance reality and creativity when telling a true story
