AI Craft in a Sea of Noise
Hosted by Gus and Invideo
Gus and Invideo
Last month, Gus launched its first-ever AI-generated brand campaign. At a time when AI content often feels rushed, overhyped, or disconnected from real storytelling, they set out to prove what’s possible when craft leads the way. For Gus, that meant using AI intentionally—treating it not as a shortcut but as a creative tool to help tell a deeply human story.
This event picks up where that project left off. Around the world, creators are moving past the knee-jerk, surface-level uses of AI—the kind that flood feeds with “AI slop”—and instead exploring how the technology can be used with purpose. From evocative storytelling to playful interactive experiments, a new wave of work is emerging that shows AI at its most powerful: when guided by concept, intention, and craft. To explore this shift, Gus is hosting a panel discussion at their global headquarters—a storefront and former tattoo parlor on the Lower East Side.
Join Spencer LaVallee (cofounder, Gus), Rogier Vijverberg (chief creative hero and cofounder, SuperHeroes), Brian Moore (artist, director, and founding member of BRAIN), and Magda Tomaszewski (head of brand management, Gus) as they unpack the evolving relationship between AI and creativity and what it means for brands, creators, and companies shaping the future of content. Networking and a happy hour will follow this discussion.
