Katherine Petrecca is the General Manager of Studio Innovation at New Balance. Katherine leads New Balance’s footwear innovation portfolio and is responsible for delivering new concepts and technologies to improve the performance and experience of athletes. Katherine first joined New Balance’s marketing department in 2000 with 10 years of experience in sport-related sales and marketing roles. At New Balance, she has led the product teams for running, walking, outdoor and basketball. Her previous roles include positions at Spalding, the America Basketball League and the UMass Alumni Association. Katherine has a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a master’s from the UMass Sport Management Program.
