Fast Company has produced the Next Big Things in Tech Awards since 2021. Now in its fourth year, the awards feature groundbreaking technology that profoundly impacts consumers, industries, and society. To earn recognition, the technology must be relevant, showcase ingenuity, and provide evidence of current and/or potential cultural and business impact.
Fast Company editorial staff assessed more than 1,300 applications, judging company responses regarding the significance of the technology, challenges faced in its development, evidence of its success over the past 12 months, and the impact it will have in the future.
